May 07, 2025 (News On Japan) - Japanese idol group Arashi has announced that it will officially end its group activities following a concert tour planned for around next spring.

A video message featuring all five members was released this afternoon on the fan club website, in which they expressed their gratitude directly to fans and shared their decision.

"In order to express our gratitude directly to everyone who has supported us, the five of us will reunite and begin preparations for a concert tour scheduled for around next spring. With this tour, we will bring our activities as Arashi to an end," the members said in the video.

The decision came after a year and a half of repeated discussions among all members.

Arashi had previously suspended group activities at the end of 2020.
