Teacher Arrested For Sharing Voyeur Video With Colleagues

HOKKAIDO, Sep 26, 2025 (News On Japan) - A middle school teacher in Chitose, Hokkaido, was arrested on September 17th for secretly filming a girl and sharing the video with other educators on a social networking site, with the case coming to light after the footage was discovered on the smartphone of one of four previously arrested teachers.

The teacher, identified as 41-year-old Keisuke Tsuguno, was taken into custody on suspicion of violating the law prohibiting the production of sexually explicit images. Investigators allege Tsuguno filmed the video and distributed it to a private group of teachers online.

Although Tsuguno had no personal connection with the four teachers who were arrested earlier, the video he shared was stored on one of their smartphones, which ultimately led police to uncover his involvement.

Authorities believe around 10 teachers from elementary and junior high schools were participating in the online group where such material was exchanged. The investigation is ongoing to determine the extent of the sharing and whether further arrests will follow.
