TOKYO, Oct 04 (News On Japan) - At the close of each day, the moment marked by 11 p.m. has become the theme of a new song by rock band Creephyp’s frontman Ozaki Sekai-kan, who has written an original piece titled “23, 24” as the ending theme for the television program News23.
The track, composed specifically for the show, reflects Ozaki’s deliberate focus on the transition between the 23rd and 24th hours of the day.
In writing the song, Ozaki said he wanted to capture the subtle emotions of this late-night hour, a time when people often look back on the day just passed and prepare for what comes next. By centering the work on “23 o’clock,” he expressed a moment that is both ordinary and deeply personal, conveying the sense of quiet reflection that settles in before the day finally ends.
Through “23, 24,” Ozaki sought to give musical form to those fleeting minutes of late night, inviting listeners to connect with the feelings that arise in the stillness between one day’s close and the arrival of the next.
