NAGOYA - Eleven passengers were rescued from an attraction at Legoland Japan in Nagoya on August 30 after a door failed to open, leaving them trapped for about 30 minutes, with no injuries or reports of illness.
The Nagoya Fire Department said it received an emergency call at around 3:40 p.m. from a security guard at the theme park in Minato Ward, who reported that an attraction door would not open and passengers were trapped inside.
The incident occurred on the Submarine Adventure attraction. Emergency crews broke open the door about 30 minutes after the call and rescued all 11 passengers.
No one was injured, and none of the passengers complained of feeling unwell.
Submarine Adventure is an indoor attraction in which visitors board a submarine-themed vehicle and explore an underwater environment.
