Ishikawa, Jan 28 (News On Japan) - Noto Airport, which had halted operations due to cracks found on the runway, has resumed civilian flights. A family returning to their Ishikawa Prefecture home for the first time since the earthquake expressed a sense of relief, saying, "It's comforting to be finally home."
This was their first return to their newly built home since the earthquake, but it had been deemed safe for entry, with the mother saying she felt "relieved seeing the green tag on our house."
The garden has overgrown. And with water outages still continuing, they plan to collect water from a nearby evacuation center.
Still, they remain hopeful, wishing for a return to normal life as soon as possible.
