'Circus' Monkeys Spotted Crossing Power Lines in Aomori

Aomori, Jul 09 (News On Japan) - In the center of Aomori City, there have been multiple sightings of monkeys.

Initially, two monkeys were captured on video on the grounds of a nearby hospital. Subsequently, a third monkey appeared.

In total, eight monkeys were spotted at the hospital.

Masahito Shibuya, head of the administrative department at Fuyokai Hospital, said, 'It seemed like they were playing and running around. The number of sightings has increased, and the monkeys seem to be getting closer.'
