Grandson Wanted for Triple Murder

SHIZUOKA, Jul 30 (News On Japan) - Police are on the hunt for a 27-year-old man wanted for the murder of three family members, stabbed to death in the abdomen and chest, according to investigators.

The suspect wanted for the murders is Hirokazu Katayama, 27, whose address and occupation are currently unknown.

Katayama is suspected of attacking and killing Shoichi Shibuya, 87, his wife Ikuko, 81, and their daughter Rumiko, 52, with a knife at their residence in Honjo, Kikugawa City, on the 28th.

Katayama is the grandson of the Shibuya couple.

According to investigators, Ikuko was not only stabbed in the abdomen and back but also kicked, while Shoichi was stabbed in the chest and Rumiko in the abdomen.

Furthermore, Ikuko was found collapsed at the entrance, and Shoichi was found in the bathroom.

The police are widely seeking information on Katayama's whereabouts.
