Child Starts Fire in Kumamoto Shopping Center

Kumamoto, Jul 31 (News On Japan) - A fire at a shopping center in Koshi City, Kumamoto, earlier this month has been traced to a child under 14 playing with fire.

Footage of the fire, captured around noon on July 14, shows the blaze at the shopping center in Koshi City. The fire burned approximately four square meters before being extinguished shortly afterward.

No injuries were reported.

The police plan to report the child to the child consultation center under the Child Welfare Law.
