Japan's Oka Secures Gold in Olympic Gymnastics

PARIS, Aug 01 (News On Japan) - In the men's all-around gymnastics final at the Paris Olympics, 20-year-old Shinnosuke Oka secured a gold medal, marking Japan's fourth consecutive victory in this event.

From Japan, top contenders Daiki Hashimoto and Shinnosuke Oka competed in the men's all-around final. Hashimoto, aiming for consecutive victories, suffered a significant setback with a fall on the pommel horse during his second event, dropping him sharply in the rankings.

Finally, in the high bar event, the young star clinched the gold medal, achieving a double crown with his earlier team victory and securing Japan's fourth consecutive gold in the men's all-around gymnastics.

Shinnosuke Oka's Comment: "I have been training with the goal of winning gold in both the team and individual events, so I'm truly happy to achieve this gold medal. I believe I performed with a sense of gratitude."
