Ghost of Tsushima Sequel Story: What to expect from Ghost of Yotei?

Nov 04 (Kings and Generals) - Kings and Generals animated historical documentary series on the history of Japan continues with a video in which we are talking about the sequel to Sony's Ghost of Tsushima - Ghost of Yotei.

Sony has announced Ghost of Yotei, the latest addition to the series, shifting from Jin Sakai’s tale to a new female protagonist in Hokkaido’s Mount Yotei, set in the early 17th century. The trailer’s 1603 timestamp marks a pivotal era: the Tokugawa shogunate's rise. The video explores this transition, delving into the Ainu people’s culture and their complex interactions with Japanese clans, particularly the Matsumae, who dominated Hokkaido. It examines the Ainu-Japanese tensions, trade dynamics, and eventual conflicts, setting the stage for the game’s narrative possibilities. Expect a focus on exile, survival, and cultural clashes in the game’s portrayal.
