Trailer Released for the Film 'Sunset Sunrise'

TOKYO, Dec 19 (News On Japan) - The novel Sunset Sunrise by Shuhei Nire has been adapted into a live-action drama starring Masaki Suda, known for works such as Cloud. The story follows a young man who relocates from Tokyo to a small town in the Sanriku region of northeastern Japan after his workplace adopts remote work policies.

There, he enjoys his hobby of fishing while engaging with the town’s eccentric residents.

The film is directed by Yoshiyuki Kishi, who previously collaborated with Suda on the Wilderness series, with a script written by Kankuro Kudo, known for One Second Ahead of Him and other works.

Release: January 17, 2025
