TOKYO - Two men robbed a man in his 30s of a bag containing 1 million yen in cash and his shoes in Osaka City before dawn on September 24, leaving him with minor injuries after pushing him to the ground.

The incident occurred shortly before 4 a.m. along a roadside in Osaka, where the victim was sitting on the curb of a park and taking a rest.

According to police, two men approached the victim and asked, "Are you OK?" When he responded, one of the men suddenly shoved him.

The pair then snatched his bag, which contained 1 million yen in cash and other belongings. They also took the shoes he was wearing before fleeing the scene.

The victim suffered minor injuries, including abrasions to his elbow.

Police are investigating the incident as a robbery resulting in injury and are searching for the two suspects.
