TOKYO, Feb 03 (News On Japan) - Tokyo's Ueno district has become home to one of the city's largest e-sports facilities, equipped with some of the fastest internet connections in the country, specifically designed for competitive computer gaming.

Opened by KDDI on February 1st, this state-of-the-art venue spans a considerable area, capable of accommodating over 100 spectators. The facility boasts a 10 Gbps connection, classifying it among the nation's quickest.

This high-speed connection can download a two-hour movie in just one second, ensuring seamless gameplay and crisp graphics for multi-player games that process vast amounts of data simultaneously.

KDDI plans to utilize this venue for hosting professional gamer tournaments and as a site for international gaming events, marking a significant step forward in the e-sports domain.
