Terkait dengan perpanjangan tersebut, pemerintah telah mengenalkan program "Diskon Dukungan Hokuriku" untuk empat prefektur di Hokuriku. Namun, kemungkinan Prefektur Ishikawa akan menunda pelaksanaan inisiatif ini karena masih berjuang dengan pemulihan dan menghadapi evakuasi sekunder.

Sebaliknya, ryokan di Awara Onsen, Prefektur Fukui, yang mengalami reputasi buruk setelah gempa bumi, kini memiliki harapan berkat adanya "Diskon Bantuan".
