OSAKA, Aug 01 (News On Japan) - The Osaka City Science Museum is set to reopen on August 1 after its first major renovation in 35 years.
Located in Nakanoshima, Osaka, the museum, which focuses on "Space and Energy," has updated its exhibits for the first time since its 1989 opening. Highlights include Japan's first robot, "Gakutensoku," and interactive areas where visitors can engage with curators. The renovation aims to provide visitors with authentic, hands-on scientific experiences. Museum Director Katsumi Yoshioka emphasized the pursuit of realism in the new exhibits.
