NAGOYA, Aug 14 (News On Japan) - The Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya’s Chikusa Ward launched its annual ‘Night Zoo & Garden’ on August 9th.
Visitors can enjoy the animals’ unique nighttime behavior, with this year’s highlights including the debut of Arona and Makumul, a brother-and-sister pair of Sumatran tigers that arrived from Ueno Zoo in June 2025, and Japan’s only Komodo dragon making its first appearance at the event.
