NAGOYA, Oct 02 (News On Japan) - A luxury hotel with rates reaching as high as 3.75 million yen per night has opened near Nagoya Castle, aiming to attract wealthy guests from Japan and abroad.
Espacio Enterprise, a hotel operator based in Nagoya, launched the Espacio Nagoya Castle on October 1st. Standard room rates, including tax and service fees, range from 250,000 yen to around 3.75 million yen per night. Leveraging its location overlooking Nagoya Castle, the company expects strong demand from affluent travelers.
The 11-story, 2-basement property features a castle-like exterior designed to harmonize with the historic landmark. Its 100 guest rooms average 70 square meters, with interiors reflecting elements of samurai culture and traditional Japanese crafts.
Espacio Enterprise is a subsidiary of Kowa, a Nagoya-based firm known for pharmaceuticals and other businesses. Kowa acquired the land and built the property on the site of the former Hotel Nagoya Castle, continuing its expansion into the hospitality sector.
