Japanese scientists find source of 'alien' radio signals

Oct 13 (Perth Now) - Japanese scientists think they have discovered the source of 'alien' radio signals.

Researchers at the University of Tokyo have captured mystery signals that have been travelling through space for over a decade.

Some experts are convinced that the fast radio bursts (FRBs) could be extraterrestrials attempting to make contact with Earth but others suspect that black holes are responsible.

The researchers have suggested that the FRBs are caused by starquakes on rapidly spinning neutron stars that possess the most powerful magnetic fields in the known universe.
