Di Inggris, Nissan Akan Beralih ke Mobil Listrik

Nov 25 (News On Japan) - Nissan Motor Corporation telah mengumumkan rencana untuk mengalihkan semua kendaraannya yang diproduksi di Inggris menjadi kendaraan listrik (EV).

Nissan akan mulai memproduksi dua model EV baru di pabrik Sunderland di timur laut Inggris, dan mengubah semua mobil yang diproduksi di Inggris menjadi EV.

Perusahaan berencana untuk berinvestasi hingga 2 miliar poundsterling (� 375 miliar) untuk perbaikan infrastruktur dan fasilitas produksi baterai di pabrik, memajukan strateginya untuk "dekarbonisasi" melalui perluasan bisnis EV.

Perdana Menteri Inggris Sunak menyambut baik langkah tersebut dalam kunjungannya ke pabrik, dengan menyatakan, "Investasi Nissan menunjukkan kepercayaan yang tinggi terhadap industri otomotif Inggris dan telah membawa manfaat ekonomi yang besar."
