TOKYO, Dec 07 (News On Japan) - Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) mengalami serangan siber, dengan terdeteksinya akses yang tidak resmi pada jaringannya.

Menurut sejumlah laporan, serangan tersebut terjadi pada musim panas tahun ini, dan JAXA telah melaporkankan kejadian ini kepada polisi mengenai akses tidak resmi tersebut, yang ditemukan saat dilakukannya penyelidikan internal.

Server yang diincar adalah "Active Directory", yang mengelola kata sandi staf dan informasi pribadi.

Kepala Sekretaris Kabinet Matsuno menyatakan, "Kami telah menerima laporan bahwa informasi sensitif yang terkait dengan operasi roket dan satelit tidak dalam pengelolaan intranet bisnis yang sah."
