Konami Establishes Its Own Animation Studio, Unveils Special 25th Anniversary Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game Video

TOKYO, Feb 03 (News On Japan) - Konami Digital Entertainment has announced the establishment of an in-house studio, KONAMI animation, with the goal of venturing into the production of animated content. The tagline for KONAMI animation is "Adding KONAMI to ANIME," signifying the company's intent to pour all of its expertise in CG technology, know-how, and production environments, cultivated through years of video game development, into the realm of animation.

During the 25th-anniversary event for the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, held at Tokyo Dome in Tokyo on February 3rd, KONAMI animation revealed its first video project, "Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES." This event, titled "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters - Duelist Legend QUARTER CENTURY," showcased the company's commitment to leveraging its own IP and expanding its reach to a wide array of works in the future.

KONAMI animation has also announced three core values that will guide its animation production: 1.
