Universitas Kyoto akan menetapkan "kuota perempuan" mulai tahun 2026

Mar 27 (News On Japan) - Mulai tahun ajaran 2026, Universitas Kyoto mengumumkan bahwa slot penerimaan mahasiswa baru secara eksklusif untuk perempuan di Fakultas Sains dan Fakultas Teknik.

Menurut Universitas Kyoto, slot eksklusif ini akan menjadi bagian dari proses "Seleksi Umum", yang menilai kemampuan akademis dan motivasi pelamar melalui penyaringan dokumen dan wawancara di Fakultas Sains, dan "Seleksi Rekomendasi Sekolah" di Fakultas Teknik.

Untuk kedua fakultas tersebut, dari total 98 kursi yang tersedia, 39 kursi akan disediakan khusus untuk perempuan, yang disebut sebagai "slot perempuan". Para pelamar akan dievaluasi berdasarkan laporan kegiatan akademik dan nilai dari Ujian Umum Masuk Universitas, di antara kriteria lainnya.
