TOKYO, Jul 23 (News On Japan) - The average price of new condominiums in Tokyo's 23 wards for the first half of this year was 108.55 million yen, marking the second consecutive year that prices have exceeded 100 million yen.
Despite a more than 16% decline from last year, driven by a reaction to the release of ultra-high-end properties in central Tokyo, prices remain approximately 27 million yen higher than two years ago.
Across the greater Tokyo metropolitan area, the average price was 76.77 million yen, down by just over 10% from last year.
