TOKYO, Jul 25 (News On Japan) - A new multi-use complex has opened in Shibuya, Tokyo, an area experiencing a significant development boom, often described as a once-in-a-century transformation.
The "Shibuya Sakura Stage" features a 39-story high-rise building with 37 tenants, including restaurants.
Despite a decline in office occupancy rates and concerns of oversupply in central Tokyo, the occupancy rate for this building is nearly 100%, driven by IT companies and gaming firms.
To improve connectivity and reduce division caused by roads and railway tracks, pathways from the basement and direct passages to other facilities have been established. Additionally, a new ticket gate, "Shin-Minami Entrance," connecting directly to the building, has been in use since last weekend.
