Japan's August Unemployment Rate Improves to 2.5%

Oct 01 (News On Japan) - Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications announced on the 1st that the nationwide unemployment rate for August dropped by 0.2 percentage points from the previous month, reaching 2.5%. This marks the first improvement in two months.

The number of unemployed individuals decreased for the first time in five months, totaling 1.75 million, a reduction of 110,000 compared to the same month last year.
