TOKYO, Sep 26 (News On Japan) - Seven Bank has announced plans to replace all 16,000 ATMs currently installed in FamilyMart stores nationwide through agreements with E-Net and Japan Post Bank with its own machines.
On September 26th, FamilyMart’s parent company Itochu Corporation said it has entered into a capital and business alliance with Seven Bank, and indicated its intention to acquire about 20 percent of the bank’s shares in the future.
If implemented, the total number of ATMs operated by Seven Bank will exceed 40,000, surpassing Japan Post Bank’s roughly 31,000 units and making it the largest network in Japan.
