KYOTO, Nov 05 (News On Japan) - Nintendo has raised its forecast for the upcoming fiscal year ending in March 2026, projecting revenue to exceed 2 trillion yen for the first time.
The company now expects sales to reach 2.25 trillion yen, up from the previous forecast, with net profit revised upward by 50 billion yen to 350 billion yen.
The revision reflects stronger-than-anticipated demand for the next-generation Nintendo Switch 2, with the company increasing its sales projection from 15 million to 19 million units. Analysts say the positive outlook underscores the company’s confidence in its flagship console’s successor as it prepares for a major product cycle expected to drive growth in both hardware and software sales.
