KANAGAWA - A woman believed to be in her 20s has been found dead at an apartment building struck by a landslide in Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, following heavy rain brought by Typhoon No. 25, raising the death toll across the Kanto region to 13.

According to Kanagawa Prefecture officials and firefighters, the woman was recovered at around 1 p.m. on September 27 from an apartment building in the Minamishitauramachi district of Miura, where a landslide had occurred during the typhoon's heavy rainfall. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe the victim was a woman in her 20s who lived in the apartment building and had been reported missing.

The latest discovery brings the number of people killed by Typhoon No. 25 in the Kanto region to 13, with deaths reported in Chiba and Kanagawa prefectures.
