Jepang Akan Memperkenalkan Tes Tuberkulosis Untuk Wisatawan dari Filipina, Vietnam, Cina, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar

Nov 22 (VISAGUIDE.WORLD) - Mulai tahun 2024, pemerintah Jepang akan mewajibkan tes tuberkulosis bagi orang-orang dari enam negara yang ingin memasuki Jepang selama lebih dari tiga bulan.

Menteri Kesehatan Jepang Keizo Takemi mengatakan bahwa enam negara yang akan terkena dampak dari persyaratan tes tuberkulosis tersebut adalah Filipina, Vietnam, Cina, Indonesia, Nepal, dan Myanmar. Dia menunjukkan bahwa sejumlah besar kasus tuberkulosis baru di Jepang berasal dari negara-negara tersebut.

Seperti yang dilaporkan oleh media lokal, kasus tuberkulosis di Jepang saat ini masih relatif rendah, dengan angka kejadian turun menjadi 8,2 kasus per 100.000 orang pada tahun 2022, yang berarti dua tahun berturut-turut berada di bawah angka sepuluh.

Hal ini menempatkan Jepang dalam kategori negara dengan tingkat kejadian TBC yang rendah menurut Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO). Di sisi lain, Cina daratan melaporkan angka yang lebih tinggi yaitu 52 kasus per 100.000 orang, sementara Hong Kong mencatat 50,13 kasus per 100.000 orang pada tahun 2021.

Menurut data pemerintah, hampir 12 persen kasus sifilis baru di Jepang disebabkan oleh orang yang datang dari luar negeri, dan persentase ini terus meningkat secara bertahap.

Terlepas dari statistik kesehatan ini, otoritas kesehatan Jepang menyoroti kekhawatiran lain, mencatat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kasus sifilis.
