FUKUOKA, Jan 23 (News On Japan) - The acceptance of applications for the second-stage examinations of national and public universities began on January 22nd.
At the Ito Campus of Kyushu University in Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City, university staff were seen opening and verifying documents mailed in by applicants.
Kyushu University's recruitment capacity is 1,979 students in 12 faculties for the first semester and 259 students for the second semester.
The deadline for application submissions is 5:00 PM on February 2nd. Applicants affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake are exempted from the examination fee.
The second-stage examinations for national and public universities are scheduled to be held from February 25th for the first-term and March 12th for the second-term.
The results will be announced on March 8th for the first term and March 21st for the second term.
