'Red Pencil' Rocks the Budokan

TOKYO, Feb 14 (News On Japan) - Bananaman's fictional folk duo "Red Pencil" took the stage at Nippon Budokan on February 9th and 10th for an unforgetable live show. On the final day, a series of guests special joined the duo, delivering a series of electrifying performances.

"Red Pencil" comprises "O-chan" played by Toshiaki Seto on vocals and "H-ton" played by Yukio Himura on guitar. The duo first appeared during a solo comedy live show in 2001 and has since been a staple in nearly all of Bananaman's comedy live shows.

The last day of the live event saw guest appearances by chelmico, Daichi Miura, Nogizaka46, and Tortoise Matsumoto. These one-day-only collaborative performances with Red Pencil were a highlight, with song arrangements tailored to each guest, ramping up the excitement in the Budokan. The show concluded with all performers singing Red Pencil's song "Bicycle" in unison, while message cards in the shape of cherry blossoms danced in the air, bringing the two-day event at Nippon Budokan to a memorable close.
