AI Transforms Long Videos into Seconds-Long Summaries

TOKYO, Apr 05 (News On Japan) - A new service has begun that leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to learn the content of videos and create meeting minutes or summaries in just a few seconds.

Developed by an IT company providing video streaming platforms, this service enables AI to search and compile information within video content.

It automatically converts the audio of a wide range of videos, including online meeting recordings, internal training videos, educational courses, and product support manual videos, into text.

Furthermore, based on this text data, the AI can create summaries or extract key points.

Supporting over 100 languages, the service also allows users to specify the content they wish to view, and it will locate the relevant section of the video. This innovation opens up new possibilities for accessing and understanding video content across various languages and formats.
