AI Reduces Work Time by 20 Minutes Per Task

Jun 25 (News On Japan) - Using Generative AI to Shorten Work Time by 20 Minutes A recent survey revealed that implementing generative AI in internal operations can reduce work time by an average of 20 minutes per task.

Panasonic Group companies, which have been utilizing ChatGPT-based generative AI since June last year, surveyed employees who used the AI over the past year and analyzed approximately 2,000 responses.

When asked how much time they were able to save per use, employees reported an average reduction of about 20 minutes per task.

Additionally, the number of uses in the past three months increased by 41% compared to the same period last year, indicating a growing adoption of the technology.

The company has developed its own generative AI capable of answering general questions as well as internal quality control regulations. They plan to expand its functions to support HR training and other areas in the future.
