Chinese historical war Movie “THE VOLUNTEERS: TO THE WAR 2 - Trailer (2024) is showing

Oct 20, 2024 (News On Japan) - THE VOLUNTEERS: TO THE WAR 2 - Trailer (2024) was released in mainland China on September 30, 2024, and up to now the film has taken the Chinese box office by storm,earning over 100 million for five consecutive days, and grosses 900 million at the box office.

It ranks first in the cumulative box office list of National Day movies.

This movie is based on the real truth and depicts a battle during the war to resist US aggression and aid Korea: the battle of Cheorwon, which tells the blockbuster of the volunteer soldiers facing heavily armed enemies and how they blocked the enemy troops step by step with their flesh and blood in the absence of bullets. From May 28 to June 12 in 1951, nearly 25,000 soldiers of the 63rd Army of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army (CPVA) had a fierce battle with 50000 UN forces for 12 days, building an unbreakable Iron Great Wall on the Cheorwon battlefield. Volunteer soldiers fought through the blood ,sweat and tears and successfully force the enemy to start the negotiation again.
