AICHI, Sep 25 (News On Japan) - Ghibli Park in Nagakute, Aichi Prefecture, which marked its third year since opening, will see its popular exhibition of film scenes undergo its first renewal.
The exhibition, called the ‘Ghibli Scene Reenactment Exhibition’ inside the Ghibli Grand Warehouse, has been a central attraction since the park opened, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in famous scenes from Studio Ghibli films such as ‘Spirited Away’ and take photographs within them.
At a press conference on September 24th, Aichi Governor Omura announced that 7 out of the 14 displays will be replaced as part of the renewal.
The updated exhibition will introduce new scenes from four additional works, including ‘The Boy and the Heron’ and ‘My Neighbors the Yamadas’. In addition, three works, including ‘Porco Rosso’, will see their featured scenes swapped for different ones.
The current seven displays scheduled for replacement will remain until December 1st, with the renewed exhibition opening to the public on December 17th.
