Jan 28 (News On Japan) - Nvidia, a major US semiconductor company, announced on January 26th that it had made an additional investment of $2 billion, equivalent to just over 300 billion yen, in CoreWeave, a company that provides cloud services for artificial intelligence applications.
The move is aimed at strengthening the partnership between the two companies, with plans to expand data center capacity by five gigawatts by 2030.
Following the announcement, CoreWeave’s share price rose as much as 16% during trading.
