AI Disaster Preparedness Tested in Nankai Trough Drill

KOBE, Feb 16 (News On Japan) - A demonstration experiment of AI-based disaster preparedness was conducted in Kobe’s Suma Ward as part of a Nankai Trough earthquake scenario drill organized in collaboration between Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation and Osaka University.

An AI agent developed by Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation was also unveiled, featuring a system that analyzes television audio and delivers necessary information to televisions and smartphones based on regional conditions and family composition.
