Nation-Building Simulation Kicks Off in Online Mahjong Game 'JanSoul'!

TOKYO, Feb 03 (News On Japan) - The popular free-to-play online mahjong game "Mahjong Soul" has just launched a new event titled "The Wish of the White Dragon"! I, Neon, a Rank 3 mahjong expert currently in a bit of a rut, am already enjoying the game. It's not just mahjong; there's also an SLG (simulation game) element that adds to the excitement! The majestic lady at the top of the event page is the White Dragon herself. I wonder if she will make appearances elsewhere in the future...?

For those interested in "Mahjong Soul," you can search for it on Amazon and Rakuten.

This event introduces us to new characters, including a dragon loli and a quirky fortune teller, all of whom are sure to make your heart skip a beat. Let's aim to acquire them through the "Prayers" feature. As befits the Year of the Dragon, we have some dragon-related characters joining the fray!

First up, we have Linlang (voiced by Aki Toyosaki), an adorable young girl who is actually a dragon and supposedly very heavy... Really? Can I hold her?? Then there's Yuan Feng (voiced by Yuusuke Shirai), a patron of the Seibu-ryu dojo. He usually has a carefree manner and peacefully practices fortune-telling, but he seems like he could be incredibly strong...

In the game's shop, there are new "Celebrate the Moment" series costumes for Seiran, Anju, and Natsuhiko. Seiran's costume, which highlights her body line, comes with special actions.

During the event, you can also obtain limited-time decorations and special effects through prayers, so be sure to give it a try!

The "Wish of the White Dragon" event involves farming with dragon spirits to develop a village, and it feels like a territory management game! For those who might be wondering what to do, here's a little tip for getting started.

Your initial strategy should be: 1. Increase the number of dragon spirits at the "White Dragon's Shrine." 2. Leave the "Wheat Field" alone for now. 3. Produce lots of lumber at the "Forestry." 4. Produce lots of stone at the "Mine." 5. Once you have enough dragon spirits, go "Exploring" to get oranges and pears.

Prioritizing the increase of dragon spirits at the shrine is key. It's important to check where and how much of each material is needed to avoid unnecessary production.

Initially, you'll need a lot of lumber, so it might be helpful to strengthen the "Forestry" at some point. As for the "Wheat Field," there's a stockpile of wheat at the beginning, and you can replenish it by playing mahjong, so there's no need to allocate dragon spirits there when consumption is low.

Watching your village grow little by little each day while playing mahjong can soothe the pain of a bad loss...

The event runs until February 20th, so take your time and aim to build the strongest village!
