Hiroyuki Oizumi Celebrates 50th Birthday at Budokan

TOKYO - Multi-talented artist Hiroyuki Oizumi, known for his work as an actor, singer, and host, held his live "50th Birthday Celebration! Recital Tour Final" on February 2nd at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan. This marked Oizumi's first-ever performance at Budokan, thrilling the 13,000 attendees. "Budokan is indeed intimidating," he commented excitedly.

As he rotated 360 degrees to survey the audience from the center stage, he joked, "It's called a center stage. Everywhere you look, there are people. Being someone who's very considerate, I find myself constantly turning around, which is quite dizzying due to my excessive eagerness to please!"

Throughout the evening, Oizumi entertained the audience with his witty banter and a selection of songs spanning over 20 years of his musical career. Highlights included his early musical works, "Like the Tower Standing in that Sky" produced by Koji Tamaki and presented at last year's Kohaku Uta Gassen, and "Fuwari," a song provided by GLAY's TAKURO. Delivering a performance that fully embraced "Oizumi World," he captivated fans with a mix of music and talk, showcasing his diverse talents.
