TOKYO, Jul 18 (News On Japan) - The average price of newly built condominiums in Tokyo's 23 wards reached an all-time high in June, highlighting the continued rise in urban property values.
According to the Real Estate Economic Institute, the average price of a new condominium in the greater Tokyo area stood at 91.65 million yen in June, up 11.8% from a year earlier.
By region, the average for Tokyo's 23 wards climbed 13.1% to 132.05 million yen, the highest figure ever recorded.
For the first half of 2025, the average price in the 23 wards was 130.64 million yen, also marking a new high. This is the third consecutive year that the average has exceeded 100 million yen.
