Jun 17 (Japan Today) - An unemployed 20-year-old man has been arrested for injuring a woman with a stun gun as she rode her bicycle home in Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture, in April.
According to police, the suspect, Kyota Sakikawa, allegedly used a stun gun on the 19-year-old woman as she was heading home. The victim suffered minor burns to her neck, local media reported. Sakikawa, who was on foot, fled the scene.
However, he was arrested in the early hours of Thursday for "suspicious activity" in the vicinity of the April attack, police said. An officer, who had been patrolling the area where the woman was attacked detained Sakikawa who confessed to being the "stun gun" culprit.
