Tour of Tokyo Station 東京駅

Jul 14 (Cory May) - This is a walking tour inside of Tokyo Station, the main railway terminal in Tokyo. It's the busiest station in Japan with over 4,000 trains passing through it every day.

It's about the 5th busiest, in terms of people, with about 500,000 passing through it daily. This is in comparison to Shinjuku Station, which is the busiest train station in the world, with 3.5 million people daily.

I wanted to share what the inside of this station looks like: all the corridors, eating areas, shopping areas, as well as the underground Tokyo Character Street, Tokyo Ramen Street, and more.

The station is so large that it connects to several other stations within 2km via underground passages. You can easily get lost inside and there are just so many things to look at and explore so I hope this video can help give you a sense of the scale of the station itself along with what is inside.
