The Rise of Chef Okuda: Match-making Italian Cuisine with Yamagata Local Products

TOKYO, Jul 04 (Japan by Food) - Discover the spirit of Yamagata and its seasonal cuisine in the heart of Tokyo!

Today, Shizuka ventures to the sophisticated Ginza district in Tokyo to sample seasonal delights at a renowned fusion restaurant. Yamagata San-Dan-Delo specializes in Italian-Japanese fusion cuisine, using only the finest ingredients from Yamagata prefecture.

Shizuka arrives at the destination and takes a seat in the elegant dining room before being welcomed by Okuda Masayuki–Chef and Founder of Yamagata San-Dan-Delo. After being clued in on the restaurants history and concept, Chef Okuda Masayuki heads into the kitchen to begin lunch preparations. He shares some of his culinary secrets and passion for fine produce as he assembles a mouthwatering range of dishes for our host.

Shizuka indulges in a feast including decadent seafood, seasonal Yamagata vegetables, wagyu beef, fine wine, and beyond.
