Freshest Sushi in Japan | This Seaside Town in Fukuoka is Sushi-Lover's Paradise

"Japan by Food" host Leina has that answer for you today as she shows you her day in Kitakyushu, a city on the northern edge of the the Japan's Kyushu region in Fukuoka Prefecture, which ends with a sushi-making experience with one of Kitakyushu's most famous family-owned group of revolving sushi restaurants and it's passionate owner.

Fukuoka is known for Fukuoka City, it's Hakata district and Hakata-style Tonkotsu (pork bone broth) Ramen, but little do most know about the seaside city of Kitayushu. Surrounded by three seas, it boasts access to some of the freshest seafood in Japan. As Fukuoka becomes a booming tourist hub, be sure to put Kitakyushu on your travel list!
