Sep 12 (Cakes with Faces) - How to make a reservation online at Kura Sushi, a popular conveyor belt sushi chain in Japan.
Kura Sushi is our favourite conveyor belt sushi (kaitensushi / katienzushi) chain in Japan. There are branches everywhere! In this video we go to the Osihage branch at the Tokyo SkyTree, which is the world's largest conveyor belt sushi restaurant, and their flagship store in Ginza. Wait times can be long, so I'll show you how to make a reservation. You don't need an app - you can reserve on their website, without registering. The easiest way is via Google Maps. Wait times can be long at sushi bars if you join the standby waitlist, so I'd recommend making a booking online, to save time on your Japan trip. The video also includes a walkthrough of eating at Kura Sushi, including how to check-in with the self-service machine when you arrive, finding your table, how to pay the bill and how to order conveyor belt sushi on the touchscreen, and from the belt. We'll also try some unusual sushi I'd never seen before on the menu!
