Influencer Sushi Chef With 13 Million Followers Reveals Local Hot Spot

AICHI, Sep 12 (News On Japan) - Hiroyuki Takeoka, proprietor of Sushitake in Kasugai, Aichi Prefecture, is known online as “Chef Hiro,” whose craftsmanship and comedy performances have helped amassed 13 million followers on social media.

The acclaimed chef’s regular haunt is Afu, a locally popular Taiwanese restaurant now making its first appearance on television.

Takeoka says he eats there about once a week and always goes back for seconds of a favorite dish. He introduces the must-try menu items—and a brand-new dish also debuts, one that even Takeoka is trying for the first time.
