NAGOYA, Nov 25 (News On Japan) - Nagoya welcomed one of Japan's largest wine sales floors on November 24th as JR Nagoya Takashimaya opened “Wine Maison” on its second basement level, creating a new destination for wine enthusiasts with a selection of roughly 2,600 varieties and 15,000 bottles sourced from around the world.
The store, designed to resemble a temperature-controlled wine cellar, features sommeliers and professional sales staff who are stationed on site to guide customers through the extensive lineup, while a counter area allows visitors to sample wines before purchasing.
The selection ranges from reasonably priced bottles in the 1,000-yen range to a top-end offering priced at 4.07 million yen.
