Mar 01 (Paolo fromTOKYO) - This is behind the counter in Japan at Eiraiken, a small machi-chuka, or Japanese style Chinese restaurant, tucked away in a quiet Yokohama neighborhood.
This Japanese restaurant has been serving Japanese Chinese food since 1969 and is deeply rooted in local Japan food culture. Originally run by an elderly man with no successor, the shop was nearly destined to close.
