Japan PM Kishida offers $8.5 million in humanitarian aid to quake-hit Turkey

TOKYO, Feb 18 (NHK) - Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio has offered emergency humanitarian aid worth about 8.5 million dollars to earthquake-stricken Turkey.

Kishida made the offer in a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday.

Kishida conveyed his condolences and sympathies to the victims and those affected by the quakes.
