Lawmaker's Land Cruiser Stolen

YOKOHAMA, Apr 05 (News On Japan) - A white Toyota Land Cruiser belonging to Junco Mihara, a member of the Liberal Democratic Party in the House of Councillors, was stolen from her home on Wednesday night.

Mihara returned home to her residence in Naka-ku, Yokohama, in her Land Cruiser on Tuesday evening, but when she attempted to leave her house around noon the next day, the car had vanashied.

There were no security cameras installed at the home.

Mihara has already filed a police report, and the authorities are investigating the incident as a case of theft.
